Recipe of fried chicken thighs in airfryer

Ingredients for Air Fryer Fried Chicken Thighs Recipe

  • 6 chicken thighs
  • Wheat flour - 5.3 oz
  • Milk - 220 ml
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • Breadcrumbs - 3.5 oz (for breading)

Preparation in airfryer

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Repose: 13 hours

Cooking time: 30 minutes

  1. In a large bowl put the milk, the flour, a pinch of salt and all the spices
  2. Add salt and pepper on top of the thighs
  3. When it is a homogeneous mixture pass all the chicken thighs until they are well impregnated
  4. Let the chicken thighs rest with the mixture for a couple of hours
  5. Preheat the airfryer to 175 ยบC
  6. On a flat plate put the breadcrumbs spread and bread the whole chicken thighs
  7. Place the thighs as far apart as possible in the air fryer basket on top of baking paper
  8. We cook in the airfryer at 175 ยบC for 30 minutes
  9. Halfway through with tweezers we turn all the thighs

Tips for a good fryer fried chicken thighs recipe without oil

  • For the mixture to be perfect, it is better to stir with a hand blender
  • I leave the chicken thighs in the mixture overnight but if you don't have time 30 min is enough
  • Try cooking the thighs without crowding them either in batches or using a rack
  • It is important to turn the thighs halfway through so they brown on both sides

  • Wheat flour โžก๏ธ Oatmeal, whole wheat flour or almond flour
  • Semi-skimmed milk โžก๏ธ Whole milk, skimmed milk, lactose-free milk or vegetable drinks
  • Spices โžก๏ธ You can substitute or add the ones you like the most
  • Breadcrumbs โžก๏ธ Panko (is a healthier option and can be made homemade) or breadcrumbs with garlic and parsley
