Ingredients for the toasted bread recipe

  • Bread, spelled, wholemeal, gluten-free, protein
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Peanut Butter
  • Cream cheese  (In my case it is light cheese)
  • Sugar free strawberry jam
  • Honey
  • 3 slices of turkey

Elaboration

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Cooking time: 6 minutes

  1. We take out all the ingredients to have them close by and prepare the toast while preheat the fryer to 190 ºC without oil
  2. We cook the hard-boiled egg in the fryer for 15 minutes or in a traditional way in boiling water (for the hard-boiled egg and avocado toast)
  3. Place the bread in the air fryer for 3 minutes at 190ºC on Bacon mode
  4. We remove and turn it over so that they brown on both sides, we cook in the air fryer another 3 minutes at the same temperature
  5. We take out and reserve to assemble the toast that we like the most
  6. For the protein bread toast we just have to spread the Philadelphia cheese and peanut butter to taste
  7. In the gluten-free toast we put the hard-boiled egg that we prepared before and the avocado cut into slices
  8. The spelled bread toast only has honey and fitness strawberry jam to taste (it can be normal jam but it will be less healthy
  9. For the toast with bimbo we spread the nocilla and now we only need to peel and cut a banana to place it on top.
  10. Finally, the integral toast only has a splash of extra virgin olive oil and the slices of turkey on top

Tips for a good toasted bread recipe

  • The time for the toast can vary according to the preference of the person, Since I don't like it very toasty, I take it out even 1 minute before
  • I recommend making a sweet toast and a savory toast so you don't get tired of any flavor
  • Although I have recommended some toast, you can mix some ingredients that are not together, such as peanut butter and nutshell 0%

Substitution of ingredients

  • Bimbo bread ➡️ Comprehensive bread, spelled, rye, protein...
  • Philadelphia cheese ➡️ Philadelphia light cheese or cheese spread (white brand)
  • Avocado ➡️ Crushed tomato and grated garlic
  • Peanut butter ➡️ Hazelnut cream or other nuts, also peanut butter with cinnamon, white chocolate and all flavors
  • Nutella 0% ➡️ Nutella and nutella are other less healthy options, other low-calorie fitness creams are more recommended
  • Turkey slices ➡️ Stuffed loin or sausages with a high percentage of meat
  • Light strawberry jam ➡️ Peach or other fruit jam (I always recommend it without sugar)
  • Banana ➡️ Raspberries and blueberries or strawberries
