Ingredients for vegan chocolate cake in air fryer

  • Wheat flour (with yeast) - 10.58 oz
  • Cocoa powder - 1.7 oz
  • Icing sugar - 5.29 oz
  • Almond milk - 350 ml
  • Dark chocolate - 2.11 oz
  • Sunflower oil - 1.58 oz
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence
  • 3 tbsp of honey
  • Peach jam
  • Almond milk - 125 ml (For the ganache)
  • Icing sugar - 1.58 oz (For the ganache)
  • Dark chocolate - 4.23 oz (For the ganache)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence (For the ganache)
  • Peanut butter - 2.11 oz (For the ganache)

Preparation in airfryer

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes

  1. Preheat the airfryer to 180 ºC
  2. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the almond drink with the chopped dark chocolate.
  3. In a large bowl sift the cake flour, cocoa powder and icing sugar
  4. When the chocolate is melted and mixed with the milk, add it to the bowl of dry ingredients.
  5. We also add the oil, the vanilla essence and the honey
  6. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth.
  7. Grease a mold suitable for air fryer with oil and flour and fill with the mixture
  8. We cook in the airfryer at 180 ºC for 20-25 minutes

  11. Let stand half an hour until cool and thick
  12. When the cake has cooled, cut it in half (horizontally) and spread the surface with peach jam
  13. We cover with the other part of the cake and with a spatula we cover everything with the chocolate ganache

Tips for a good vegan chocolate cake recipe in a airfryer

  • It is important to sift all the ingredients dry so that there are no lumps.
  • You can melt the chocolate with the milk in a saucepan, in a bain-marie or in the microwave
  • To beat I have used an automatic hand mixer but you can use manual rods, a glass blender, a mixer or a Thermomix
  • If the mold is silicone, you do not need to grease it. (remember to use a pan suitable for a airfryer)
  • Let the cake cool before cutting it.

  • Pastry flour ➡️ Wheat flour, oatmeal, whole wheat flour, rice flour (for all you should add half an envelope of yeast)
  • Cocoa powder ➡️ Cocoa cream
  • Icing sugar ➡️ Normal sugar or sweeteners
  • Almond milk ➡️ Coconut milk, soy milk, rice milk, oat milk (or if you're not vegan, regular milk)
  • Dark chocolate ➡️ Milk chocolate or white chocolate
  • Sunflower oil ➡️ Coconut oil or olive oil (both in less quantity)
  • Vanilla essence ➡️ Vanilla or change the icing sugar for vanilla sugar
  • Honey ➡️ Maple syrup, date paste or other sweetener
  • Peach jam ➡️ Strawberry jam or any jam you have at home
  • Peanut butter ➡️ Almond butter (looks better but harder to find)
